    Hi Loungers,

In the good old days (never thought I’d refer to W7 that way!) If you click the network icon in systray and right click one of the networks you can get to the Properties for the connection. Now I get a pretty list of networks but no right click ability.

I have installed StartX in frustration at the Metro interface.

    So the questions are:

[*]Can I get to Network Properties?
[*]Can I add it to StartX somehow?

    Thank you……………………. liz

If you are running Windows 8.1 right click the start button and click Network Connections.

As far as adding it to Start Menu X, if you can, it would be in the settings somewhere, something concerning customizing the start menu. Classic shell works a treat as I can add Network connections to the start menu and either have it display as a link or as a menu, whereby clicking on any of the connections takes one directly to that adapter’s network properties.
It sounds like you are referring to a list of wireless networks though that may be connected to using the same adapter so that may not be exactly what you are looking for.

FUN, hello. Looking for status is a wild goose chase. In Control Panel, I went to Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> right click on it but no status. Jean.
