When trying to install ie8 on xp pro sp3,ittells me that a kb is missing/
When trying to install it .there is a msg that its not needed’ and I cant install the ie8

  It says that the sp Iuse is newer than the update-ther is no need to install t6he update

  There’s a possibility your SP3 is a beta version: WindowsXP-KB932823-v3-x86-ENU install problem

  Where is that version number from?
  
  Try Start, Run, msinfo32 or How to find windows version, build number and revision number?
  
  Should be5.1.2600.5512
