I can open most of the forms in an Access database that I’m trying to fix, but there are a couple of forms that are giving me trouble. When I click on them and click Design View, it boots me right out of Access then creates an Access.Lockfile.9 (SQL_BO.ldb). What’s happening? I really need to get into this table because that is where the problem I need to fix is. I looked in the Permissions and I have permissions to Open/Run, Read Design, Modify Design, and Administer. So why can’t I get in?

Have you tried to compact the database? (Tools | Database Utilities | Compact and Repair Database)
Do you get any error messages when you do that?

Just an observation – you will always get an ldb file when you open an Access database (unless you don’t have write access to the directory the database is in). They’re not obvious because when an Access database closes normally if no one else has the database open the ldb file is automatically deleted. You’re seeing the ldb file because your database crashed.
