Since upgrading to Windows 7 when I click on a posted PDF I get a message saying that Acrobat 7 is running and it cannot dispaly a PDF. I have the latest version of Acrobat reader on my machine and ran IE8 under Vista without this problem. The add-in manager lists version 9 of all Adobe add-ins. Any ideas?

Did you install Adobe Acrobat 7 after the installation of Adobe Reader 9? In that case the Adobe Reader plug-in for Internet Explorer may have become corrupt. I would recommend uninstalling Adobe Reader, rebooting the system and then reinstalling Adobe Reader. Make sure you use the latest version (9.2.0), earlier versions have some serious security issues.

Reader 7 may havebeen on a NVIDIA driver disc. I uninstalled the 8.5 version of Reader and installed Reader 9.2 andeverything seems to work fine. FYI in the previous configuration it workd with the 64 bit version of IE 8 but no the 32 bit version. thanks for your assistance.
