Win98 2nd Edition

I have cascading menus on my Start menu for Printers and Control Panel (see KB article for details) – very very handy!

I’ve now tried to create one for Dial Up Networking but, although the cascading menu appears, it is empty (I have four DUN connections set-up).

The KB article states that the DUN cascading menu won’t work if you have IE4 installed – I don’t and never have?

Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?

From the QB article you point to:
NOTE: The cascading Dial-Up Networking menu does not function in Windows 98, Windows NT, or in Windows 95 with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 installed.

I’m afraid the way I read that is as:
NOTE: The cascading Dial-Up Networking menu does not function in Windows 98, Windows NT, nor does it work in Windows 95 with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 installed.

Wonder why they (MS) haven’t carried the function through to Win98?
