I have tried several different methods found on the internet to accomplish this, but none have worked. I thought I remembered the topic from a relatively recent issue of Ask Woody, but I can’t find it in my archives. Can someone please provide instructions that work with Win11 23H2 64 bit?

    Thanks,

      Hi,
Not sure if you have tried start11 from Stardock.
That should work very for what you are looking for.
      All the best

I’ll check it out, Sudo. A number of places had videos of how to do it with a registry edit, but it didn’t work. Thanks for your tip.

There are a number of videos on YouTube showing a method for editing the registry to use the Win10 style start menu. I have followed the instructions for several of them, they’re all the same changes, but it doesn’t work for me. Should it work? I would rather use something like that than a 3rd party installation if possible.
