This may already have been answered in the past, (but I don’t see the post) but I would like to change all the numbers in one column to a regular date format
Right now it is showing as a number. For example the number would be 19721024 which should read 10/24/1972 or similar and should show as a date cell versus a text cell or a general number cell.
Is there a macro or code for this
    Thank you again
    JK

Since that number, 19721024, isn’t in a date format that Excel recognizes, you have to convert it to one.

If the format is: yyyymmdd, then this will work for you (the actual numbers in column B are 26596 and 42374, respectively (if you care). Then, they are formatted using a date format.
