Whenever I create a folder it has the default details view displaying “Name” “Size” “Date” “Type” which is what I want, however if that folder contains media files it is automatically changed to display the tag information of the media files, ie. “Name” “#” “Title” “Contributing Artist” “Album”.
Is there a way to stop this & have all folders default to the “Name” “Size” “Date” “Type” no matter what the contents are?

Try setting up a folder just the way you want it, and then going to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View -> Apply This View.

Thanks, Think I’ve got it sussed now…..
I had tried that, just not whilst in a media folder, the “Apply This View” option only applies it to folders of the same type.
