• Chart colors getting cranky (PPT 2000)

    Hi all!
PPT bites the dust again. If I modify a chart fill to a different color from the tools-options-colors-chart fill menu, it finds an opportunity at some point after I exit to pop right back to the original color! brainwash Also, how could I copy the chart colors from one chart to another?

I’m not sure why the colors are reverting, but if you set up a chart that you like, you can save it as a custom chart, then it can be used in other charts as well.

Select the chart, use Chart/Chart Type, and click the tab for Custom Types. In the lower left hand corner change to User Defined. Click the Add button. Fill in a name and a description.

To use the new chart type, select a chart, use Chart/Chart Type again, Custom Types tab, User Defined, choose the chart type you named in the above step.

      Hope this helps.
