Hi
I need a chart made based on the two summery pages and I’m not sure how to do it. I combined the two pages into one page and have attached the summery page. They want to compare May and Sept (Turn around, Doctors Turn around, and Records turn around) in a chart form.
Please help

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerSeptember 25, 2003 at 6:51 pm #720115I can think of a number of ways to plot the data, you will have to be more specific about your needs:
Do you want a separate chart fot the 3 items (turn around, dr turn around, med records turn around)? I would tend to think YES since they don’t seem to be be related to each otherDo you want to Plot Mon -friday as categories and have may and september as different series?
May and sept as categories and M-F as 5 series?Do you want to average M – F?
Do you want to plot the average with the Min-Max as error bars?
Why just May and sept?
If it were me, I would actually prefer to plot the daily numbers over time with control limits and then see if the numbers are in control and how much variability is in them before I would even start worrying if they are different!

AskWoody LoungerSeptember 25, 2003 at 7:04 pm #720119Hi Steve,
Thanks for being so fast. I have messed around and come up with this chart. (It’s attached). The problem is they want the Average for May and Average for Sept to be side by side. I’m Not sure how to make the chart as wide as the paper.
Yes they want 3 different charts. I’m not sure why they only want May and Sept months. -

AskWoody LoungerSeptember 25, 2003 at 8:39 pm #720159To make the chart fit to paper, you want the chart to be a sheet as opposed to being an object on a sheet. Just right click on the chart, select Location, and choose “As New Sheet”.
To change the order of the data, just right click on any one of the bars. Click on Format Data Series. One of the tabs you will get at the top is “Series Order”. You can rearrange the sequence of bars there.
Results are attached.
This was done in Excel97.
