Is there any way to get a presentation to update the changes to its template?

I have made a custom template for my company, and I have made several presentations based upon it. The presentations are modular, each time a different set will be used, dependant upon who the audience is.

I very much want to make sure that all of the presentations have the exact same design (I am still tweaking the design template)is there any way to do this other than Format|Apply Design Template? I don’t want to have seven out of eight presentations look the same.

    Thanks.

Could one of you VBA code spealists write a script that could update each slide layout? That would seem the simplest. Otherwise I’m pretty sure you’re stuck doing it manually.

I think you cannot make a presentation automatically update changes to the template.
I thought of a way which would do the biz but it’s not a lot quicker than manually.
Open a new, blank presentation using your latest version of the template. Open one of the exisiting presentations and, in slide viewer mode, copy all the slides.
Switch back to the new presentation and paste in the slides. This forces the new template to be applied to the existing slides.
It’s all a bit tacky, though.
      Cheers

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
