Clear recent items in start menu

Hi,

I am having a problem trying to clear my recent items list in the start menu. Windows help points to right clicking the button and deleting the list, but I don’t have that option on the right click. Where else can I go to do this, and why is the command missing?

Any ideas.

My operating system is Vista (home premium)

Replies

You can select Open or Explore to open the Recent Items folder, and delete some or all of the items in this folder.

To restore the missing menu item, see Clear Recent Items List option missing when you right-click on the Recent folder.
