    Hi Folks!

I know how to clear the cache of all the apps at once on Marshmallow (6.0) by using the Storage & USB choice in the Settings menu. But where do you find the very same functionality in Pie (9.0)?

The closest I’ve found so far is the optimization routine within the settings menu, but that also does things like optimize battery consumption and perform a security check at the same time. I just want to clear the cache of ALL the apps on the device at the same time instead of having the clear the cache of each app individually within its’ own settings menu.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Wow, I’m disappointed…48 hours without any kind of response to such a simple-sounding question. 🙁

The capacity to clear the cache of all apps at one time was removed (Oreo?)…

And I haven’t found a reliable, privacy respecting app to replace that particular function… and apparently, you haven’t, either…

Thanks for the reply @Elly. Pity the function was removed back in Oreo. Funny thing… the device I was asking about that had 9.0 Pie was just updated a few minutes ago to Android 10!
BTW, I haven’t heard or noticed what dessert name was assigned to Android 10, have you?
