Any issues with Acronis True Image 8 and Dantz Retrospect 6.5 being installed on the same boot system?

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerJuly 14, 2005 at 5:39 pm #959948I haven’t a clue if they would cause conflicts if they were installed on the same system. Why not write to either Retrospect or Acronis and ask. What I do know is that the cheapest version of Retrospect is 3 times that of Acronis:
Retrospect Professional v7.0
Protects networked desktops and notebooks for personal and home office backup.PU10A007000 Physical $129.00
PU11A007000 Electronic $119.00

AskWoody LoungerJuly 15, 2005 at 8:32 am #960103I know of one “business” entity which uses both on their servers, or at least they used to. I’ve been gone from their employ for a few years now, so I haven’t kept up with ’em. From what I know about both programs, there shouldn’t be any reason for conflict, but I guess anything’s possible.
