I am trying to combine all my email accounts to go to a single Inbox.

I am using Outlook 2010. I have several email accounts, some of which are POP3, and some IMAP (which I can’t change to POP3). The POP3 accounts can all be directed to the main Inbox. The IMAP accounts all show up separately and I haven’t found an Outlook menu item to direct them to the main Inbox. I’ve tried on several occasions to figure this out, but without success.

Is there a way to have all my email accounts go to my Outlook main Inbox?

    Thanks.

What I do in such cases is to use an Outlook rule on each of the IMAP / exchange accounts to move any message arriving through them to the unified inbox account. Works pretty well.

Just a quick note to express my sincere gratitude for your timely reply. I’ve previously looked at “rules” in the past on several occasions, but didn’t see a direct path to moving all messages in the “rules” menu lists. As a result of your recommendation, I pursued the matter again and discovered how to use “rules” to get all messages moved. Problem solved. Thanks again. Happy holidays.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
