Right now I have a series of forms (12) that are called EDGAR as a group. The forms were created in MS Outlook 98, save the data to MS Access 97, and print forms in MS Word 97. I also export some data to MS Excel 97.
I have been asked to convert the whole thing into a “program” using VB – 6. and use SQL for storage. My question is.. If I convert all the form in vb.. how do I print, and save the data. Will I need to make sure that everyone still has MS Word and MS Access to use this.
Where can I find information so that I can complie my work and set it up in somekind on Installation wizard. The last part is so that the Network group and call call up the installation and install the program in anybody computer. What would I need in the way of MS Office to do this… Would it matter if we/user has NT4 or OS2k or Office 97 or Office 2000.
I have never done this before and I am lost trying to figure this out. Any pointers or directions on where to find reading material will be very helpful.
