Complete system backup – Windows 10

I would like to know why Macrium Reflect is recommended for backup software.  I understand that they do not offer telephone support.  That is an issue for me because, in my past experience, it takes much longer to resolve a problem.  Plus, how can you get any assistance if you do not have internet access?  Is there another product that you recommend?  Thanks in advance.

I use it because it works.  I’ll be flat out honest that I don’t find many software vendors offering phone support these days and especially offering GOOD telephone support.  There’s many a time I call a vendor and because they are outsourced and overseas the phone call is nearly impossible to do because the sound quality of the phone call is horrible.

The first rule of using technology is always having another device – even if it’s a phone – that you can use to get to the Internet and search for resolutions.

Can you expand on this concern please? Do you envision: “I’ve done a Backup, now the system is down, and Restore doesn’t work, and I need help”? Or what?

MR (and others) are recommended because they do what they claim, backup your data.
Not having a backup is asking for trouble.  Asking for help restoring is easy when you know your data is safe in your backup.

I have found the Macrium Support Forum most useful, with people who are willing to offer time and support to those who need it.  Better indeed than some manufacturer forums, such as HP’s, from which I never seem to get anything.
