Good afternoon

In this post http://bro.ws/771462L earlier Rory and Jan Karel gave me some invaluable help with formulas to get high and low temperatures from and to various worldwide points. I have been asked if I could highlight the lowest of the 4 result and highlight the highest of the 4 results and I wondered if I could do this with CF. I have tried by get conflicts with the > and < then when trying to work it out over 4 cells. Alternatively could it be coded into the existing formulas?

Any ideas please?

Highlight what results and where? Can you post an example?

You can certainly do it with conditional formatting. Based on my sample workbook, you would select C4:D5, use FormulaIs and enter
=C4=MAX($C$4:$D$5)
for the max and:
=C4=MIN($C$4:$D$5)
for the min. Assumes that C4 is the active cell when you add the CF.

Since Rory’s response, it had become painfully obvious what the “4 results” where that you referred to in your original post.
