I am trying to cut and paste a range of cells with conditional formatting in a VBA macro. On some PC I am using this owrks fine. However on other I get a VBA error saying ” Run time error -2147417848 (80010108) Method ‘ Paste’ of object ‘_Worksheet’ failed”. This relates to MSKB article Q231144. What I would like to know is how can I tell which versions/SR’s of Excel this relates to ?
Does anyone else have any experience of this ?

    In anticipation,

As the Article does not mention Service Release information, we can assume that it is a problem with all SR’s, as II think MS would advise if the problem was fixed by a particular SR.

Have you tried the suggested workaround, and did it work ?

        Andrew,
It’s not the workaround that bothers me but the fact that on some PCs I have successfully recorded a VBA macro to cut and paste the range with the conditional formatting but on others it causes Excel to hang. Both are running Excel 2000 (Version 9.0.3821) SR-1. I am concerned about the implications for sharing VBA code.
