Hi – a secondary thought – does Access 97 run successfully in the Windows XP environment and would it be easier to load 97 and use in this environment rather than upgrading some databases to 2002?

    Thanks! Marion

People in the IT department of the place where I work have tested Office 97 (including Access 97) under Windows XP and reported no problems. So continuing using Access 97 should be OK. It’ll give you more time to work on conversion – which you’ll probably have to do eventually anyway.

No problem. It’s just easier for everyone if threads hang together instead of being broken into pieces. smile
