• Converting PST data (XP)

I exported my Outlook 2003 data to my flash drive as a pst file. When I go to import it into my other machine, which is running Outlook XP, it gives me a “not compatible with” message. Since my other machine is currently in the process of a hard drive change, and will be out of service for at minimum a few hours, is there any program out there, that anyone might know of, that will convert this data for me?

    As always – thanks

Do you have access to another PC with Outlook 2003, or know someone who has? If so, you can open (not import) the Outlook 2003 .pst there, then export it to an Outlook 97-2002 format .pst file. I’m not aware of any utilities that will convert the .pst file.

Not at the moment. I guess I will be patient and wait the few hours. It’s really no big deal, but I just figured that if anyone would know if there was a utility to do this, they would be members here anigrin

But there is a good thing about this. Now when I travel, I will know that I need to save it in the other format which I did not know before. So next time I am across the country at one of my kids’ homes I won’t be out in the cold!

        Thanks again,
