    Greetings.

I have a complex Word template written in both VBA and in legacy WordBasic.

I recently tried to load it up in Word for the Max:X to see what ports and what doesn’t — and was suprised to find that the project was locked for viewing after being copied to the Mac.

The project was NOT locked on the PC, though it did have a password. On the Mac, I was not asked for the password, justs forbidden access to the modules.

Is there a trick to getting code from one platform to the other and still be visible?

Did you try removing the password first? You could always try exporting then importing, though that can be a hassle if you’ ve got lots of mods.

I haven’t tried it with the password completely removed from the PC template before copying to the Mac. I’ll try that.

Exporting (using VBA Code Cleaner) would be simple. But I don’t think there’s a mac version (is there) that would make rebuilding automated.

I don’t think so; you’d have to import manually.
