I have copied macros from one file to another. When I run the macro in the second file it opens the original file. How can I fix this?

You may have some links, or references still pointing to the old workbook.

Just as a question, did you select all the text of the macro, and copy and then paste, or how did you accomplish the copying?

I just did a copy from one file and paste the macro to the other file. I did solve the problem. I deleted any links, then for the buttons I had to re-assign all macros. It worked, I just thought there might be a faster solution.
