I have an application running on a Windows XP Pro machine. The application is designed to take advantage of the Core Duo technology, but when I look at the processes running it doesn’t seem to use the benefits of the core duo processor. Is there a software switch within the PC, OS or application which is likely to control this?

I know the question is a bit vague, but hope someone has some expereicne of this technology who can point me in the right direction.

What exactly are you expecting to see? And what application are you referring to that is “designed to take advantage of the Core Duo technology”?

Looking at the list of running tasks in Task Manager is not going to divulge much information above and beyond the fact that the process is, in fact, running, along with some details.
