Creating a list of email addresses from a folder (2000)

I want to make a list of all the email addresses in a particular mail folder. Is this possible?

Sure. Look at the Import/Export wizard; you can select the folder and fields to export, and export to a number of formats including text formats. There are also some code samples to get at the information if you look back through this Forum. Post back if this doesn’t provide what you need.

Many, many thanks. I hadn’t thought of that. The import/export facility is certainly a lot more sophisicated that I thought, while still being fairly simple.
A supplementary question: Now I’ve got my csv or txt file of email addresses, is there a quick way of de-duping them to produce a list of unique addresses?

To weed out duplicates, open the file in Excel, and use the Data | Filter | Advanced Filter option to copy unique addresses to another location. If you’re not familiar with the advanced filter, look up Filter in the Excel help index, then Filter for unique records.
