The latest issue of WWW mentioned that the e-mail was created with FrontPage. How is this done? Can you use FP as your e-mail editor?

AskWoody LoungerJuly 10, 2003 at 5:48 pm #692699I did some by trial and error a while ago… I remember some difficulty locating the correct stationery folder to save into, but the actual page design is just HTML. The
tag will be ignored, but you can put tags in the section of the page to control the appearance of the body.</p> <p>Note that most mail clients will not run JavaScript or ActiveX (and might generate security warnings if you include it). So “just HTML” is really purely HTML in this case. -

AskWoody LoungerAugust 1, 2003 at 7:28 pm #698991It really depends on how you end up sending the mail out. I’ve never had a lot of luck sending through Outlook but you can downloads heaps of free apps to send out mass e-mail using HTML pages. You just create a webpage in Frontpage to look exactly like you want your e-mail to look in a user’s inbox and send that instead of typing your text into the body of a message. I use a program called GroupMail (http://www.infacta.com) that works great for a pretty reasonable price.
