I have a created a cross tab query and it works fine. In the design view, I am able to enter Criteria on a Row Heading field (Site). But when I enter a parameter query in Site – Criteria to prompt users for the site name (Like [Enter first letters of the site] & *), the cross tab fails. (I’ve read some replies by Charlotte and she confirms that parameters tend to choke in a cross tab.)
I can instruct the end-users to edit the query to get the results they want, but I would like to automate if possible. Any work arounds or suggestions? THANK YOU.
