    How do I maintain the currency formatting of a summed amount once I merge the database information into a Word document?

      You can add a number format switch to the field code.
      – Right-click the relevant merge field.
      – Select ‘Toggle Field Codes’ from the popup menu.
      – You’ll see something like { MERGEFIELD AmountDue } where AmountDue is the field name.
      – Change it to { MERGEFIELD AmountDue # “$#,##0.00” }
      – Press F9 to hide the field code and to update the field result.

    You can use BBCodes to format your content.
    Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
