Cursor and NumLock

Hi Folks:

My work has just updated me to Win7 on the laptop I use and no one can seem to figure out why the NumLock goes off and the cursor reverts to its default every time I turn the machine on.

Sheesh – Win 7 still has me baffled – how am I going to cope with 8? :huh:

Any suggestions about where to look to get these things permanently set would be most welcome.

If you have access, look for the numlock setting in the BIOS.

If you are running on a domain the IT folks may be pushing a policy which sets a default environment every time you login.
