I’m having trouble with custom animations in a presentation. ALl the slides with routine text are working fine, but I have one which is a diagram made up of lines, text boxes and a few drawing objects. While working in custom animation, I can select these items and apply animation to them (mostly “appear on click”) and the preview shows the animation. However, when I go into slideshow mode to test it out, anything to which I’ve applied animation steadfastly refuses to appear at all.

    Any suggestions?

It may be that you are getting tangled up with slide transitions and annimation. If the info isn’t proprietary, you might put that single slide into a new presentation and attach it to a post so others can see what you are trying to do.

Wendell, thanks, but no I’m not tangled up. Since the problem was related to one slide, I copied all the content to a new one and it worked fine.
