On the startup form of the attached mdb, if you right click IN the datasheet cells, you get the proper custom shortcut menu(1 item: Freeze Columns) while you don’t if you right-click the datasheet column headings. How can I get the custom shortcut menu to show there as well?

That doesn’t appear to be possible. Your database doesn’t have a startup form, by the way – thankfully!!!!

It does now, thanks Hans, one more reason to move over to the Ribbon with open arms
