    Hello,

I have created a Data Access Page in access 2000, did some test and works fine. However, when I send a link to myself or others to open it, it opens somewhere in the body of the page and you have to scroll up to the top of the page (heading) to start filling out the survey. Is there a way to make it open on the top of the page when the user clicks on the link?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect you’ll have to do it in the HTML that paints the page. Unfortunately, I’m clueless about HTML, but maybe someone else can assist.

HTML pages should usually load to the top IF the link is directly to the page name (without an Anchor reference). If, however, your link has the page name followed by an anchor reference the page will load with the anchor at the top.
An anchor reference is denoted by the pound sign (#) followed by a corresponding name in the page. For example:

      Survey.htm#part1

To fix this, remove the “#part1” (or whatever yours says) after the page name.

Another alternative (if that doesn’t work) is to put an anchor near the top of the page (immediately following the tag):
Then refer to the anchor with your link to the page: Survey.htm#top

      Hope this helps

Would you post this page (and it’s associated DB) and I’ll take a look, can’t promise anything.
I have fiddled with Data Access Pages in the past.
