In column A I have listed the months of January through December, 2003, in the format “MMMM-YY”. I would like to calculate the number of days between 2 end of month dates, but when I try and use the Datedif function and reference cells a1-a12, I get an error message.
    Any ideas?
    Jeff

Are you putting the quotation marks into the formula? The correct formula would be

      =DATEDIF(A1,B1,”d”)

Yes, I was/am. I just found my problem: when entering the dates, the earliest date must be first!
        Thanks,
        Jeff

Where is this DateDif function? Both my analysis toolpaks are active and I still can’t find it?
        Sorry for this dumb question!

Are the values in column A text entries or are they date values formatted as you described? What error message are you getting? What did your DATEDIF function look like?
