Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
I just activated DCOM on three computers where I needed to have clients access a program on the computers. After I rebooted each computer I lost all Ethernet connections on the computers. Right-clicking on My Network Places and choosing Properties shows just “Make New Connection”. The “Local Connection” icon is gone!
Any ideas on what happened and how to get my local connections back?
