Defender Updates no longer notify in Action Center

Win Pro 1803, Group A, Group Update setting 2, Semi-Annual, Feature delay 365 days, Quality delay 0 days.

I noticed lately that (maybe after October update) that Defender Updates no longer show a notification in the bottom far right Action Center like they use to.

Almost daily in the morning I would receive a notice and could click on it and go the WUpdate and it would be there to download and install.

Lately, no notices but when I manually go to Settings>Update & Security>Wupdate there is usually a Defender Update sitting there like use to. I then download/install.

Any ideas as to why it no longer notifies in the Action Center?

Yeah I have noticed that behaviour since fairly early on with Win10 Pro x64 1803, June 2018 perhaps?? especially with the GPOL set to notify before download and install (#2) 30 and 365 are set here in the WUD settings GUI/App and its set to continue with 1809 I think although yet to set deferrals on the 1809 test VHD although the above GPOL is set as a rule on all versions as I like to check that aspect.
As a rule you may have noticed, and I have, that updates are slow to arrive after coming off 30 days deferral normally about 5-6 Days after before they “Alarm/Notify” in the notifications centre here, maybe by design yet another “Feature/or Bug” and I haven’t seen too much out there on the web about this at all and certainly not complaining here as its not exactly a “Show Stopper”

Thanks, I  updated to 1803 on 10/01, thus 1st Quality update was October’s.

Cant say if they showed before the October update or not.  Had no problem when had 1709 they always notified.

Yeah same here with Win 10 1709 after a few weeks of running Win10 1803 in a test VHD I was thinking like there’s something missing here? Its really quite unobtrusive, one less alarm/notification I suppose but I like to know what’s going on, ahh well
