I wanted to insert an invitation that was created in PPT into the body of a Calendar item. However, when the slide was inserted into the body (using Insert Object, *.pptx), the font “degraded”. I’ve included a screenshot so you can see what it’s doing. Does anyone know why the quality is so bad?

I found the answer. Apparently the shadow effect was applied to the PPT font along with a gradient background. Not a good combination that works well as an Outlook embedded object.

Glad you got it resolved. Thanks for posting back.
