Over time I have accumulated a large list of web sites in the drop down box
“Specify the location to publish your web to:”.
How do I delete some or all of this list so I can start afresh? Right click, delete, doesn’t work.

The following registry key contains the list:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftFrontPageWebsPublished

You can right click and delete any value you wish to remove.

Please make a backup of the system registry before doing this.
If you are not familiar with registry editing, please let me know, and I can post more detailed instructions.

Thanks James. The Registry still frightens me and I’d be grateful for more detailed help.
I have Windows ME. I had to reformat my hard disc last year and after reinstalling FrontPage and copying My Webs from a zip disc I was surprised to find all my old web publishing destinations still appearing in the drop down list.

        Brian,

Forgive me! My prior post is if you want to trim down the “Specify the location of the new web” list.

          LMD,

You had me worried. I followed James’ advice, which worked. Deleted about 40 entries..

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
