I am designing a new form to gather information. I have a date field. I would like to put a calendar right next to this field where when you click on it you can pick the date right on the calendar and it will be entered in the field. Is this possible? If so, what control would that be? Thank you.

Assuming that you are doing this in the Visual Basic environment, click Tools-References and look down the list for the “Microsoft Calendar Control” – put a tick in the checkbox and that control will become available to you. The attached Word file shows you what the control looks like. If you cannot find it then you need to get hold of a file called “mscal.ocx” which I’m guessing that you can download from the M’soft site. When you are in design mode and drop a calendar onto a userform then you can hit F1 and get help with the control.
