I have a project in my documents folder under a further sub directory. The string is c:Zavemy documents kadishakadisha.mdb.
When I try to create an Access setup program using the developer tool kit, it gets till the next to last screen and then claims it cannot find my file (this is after it found the file to scan it for dependencies). If I move the file to c:KadishaKdisha.mdb it works fine.
Is there a limit on the length of the string of the source file that the developer toolkit can handle ?
    Thanks

      >>The string is c:Zavemy documents kadishakadisha.mdb.<<

I haven't used the setup program for awhile, but I suspect it has to do with the space in 'my documents'. If possible, try to specify the string within quotes.

That could be. What is strange is that is not a string I specify. You use a standard MS open file dialogue to choose the file for the project. Of course the fact that a MS office XP program does not recognize the my documents folder is entirely plausible!
