Disable Win8 Backup

How can I disable the windows 8 backup? It just started popping up and besides being annoying, I don’t wish to use it. Any help please?

When does it pop up? I do not have anything popping up and I have never disabled it.

Normally one has to initiate a backup schedule in Windows 8, it does not come about on it’s own.

In Windows 8, backup will be located in the control panel under “Windows 7 file recovery”.
Scheduled tasks can also be modified or deleted from the task scheduler, it’s located in control panel under administrative tools.
Task scheduler can also be invoke by typing “schedule tasks” into the charms bar search area.

Thanks for your replies. It pops up after start up and continues for a couple of minutes, but I will check Clint’s reply and see if I can stop it there. Thank you both.
