Disappearing Desktop Folder

I brought my laptop out of sleep mode this morning to find a new folder on the desktop. The folder was called “Removable Storage Devices” I could move the folder around the desktop, but could not delete it. Opening the folder showed my storage devices, but when looking at the Desktop in Windows Explorer, the folder could not be seen, even with the show hidden objects box being ticked.

Then about two hours later I noticed that the folder was no longer visible. Anyone else seen this before?

Running Windows 10 Home, Ver 21H2, on Lenovo IdeaPad 330.

Did a Search and found many like you that said  – Rt Clk Desktop / Refresh … and That worked for them…. Try and post back if no good.
