Disappearing name from report (2003 (11.8204.8221) sp2)

I have a report that looks fine as long as the last names are different. However, when the last name is the same the second name disappears. (See the attached)

There is a “Hide Duplicates” property for each textbox on the report. In this case, you want to set it to “No” for this lastname control.

I checked the “Hide Duplicates” property before I posted my SOS. Also, the lastname control is not on my report. What is on my report is the concatenation of the lastname and firstname.

Could you post a stripped down copy of your database? See post 401925 for instructions.

My immediate reaction is that you are grouping by Last Name whereas you should be grouping by the Prmary Key field (StaffID or whatever).
