displaying date in Mozilla Firefox browser

hello everyone;

could PLEASE get some help to have today’s date displayed in welcome page of Mozilla Firefox browser?

my web search takes me to a developer zone, and as i am NOT skilled in that area, i’m afraid of spoiling something i my settings.

PLEASE HELP!!

That usually means we won’t hear back about whether suggestions worked or not.

Now, as for that welcome page, it’s part of Firefox and can’t be changed. Changing the Home page to one that a person has created can be altered by that person. I have done it on my Domain.

As for the date, I use a small HTML script on my first page and also a script that shows the time/clock taken from a site I signed up with. Main thing is I have control of that page. Is that your intent? If not would it work to show the date along with the time in the Notification Area?

Thank you gentlemen for your assistance.
I was trying to get this date issue in MF because i didn’t succeed in setting it in the w7 taskbar bottom right corner.

however, thanks to Paul T i got that problem solved [in another thread in the lounge], and NO LONGER NEED to joggle with MF page.

will mark the thread as solved.
