Do I need NVIDIA software?

The following software from NVIDIA is installed on my WIN7/64 Machine.
My question is do I need all of this? Can I just get by with the driver? Dose it matter?
Other than a occasional game of solitaire I do not play any games just streaming video.
if it mutterers the graphics card is the GeForce 9100.

I just have the driver and the update utility installed and I haven’t noticed any real difference. I don’t play games either.
If you start noticing any problem you can reinstall the rest.

On another note:
I’m still getting display driver crashes when using Photo Galleries “fine tune” utilities in Windows 8, with or without the extras,
and despite an updated driver since the start of these crashes.

You don’t need the 3d or PhysX items. The 3D stuff is for gaming with stereo glasses, like the 3D movies. PhysX offloads complex in-game physics calculations from the CPU to the GPU, thereby freeing up the CPU for other tasks.

“Dose it matter?” Not at all, leave it all be if you aren’t in acute disk space trouble. The extras will just sit there quietly, unused.

I tried to get rid of the Nvidia HD Audio drivers, which I don’t need, to leave just the graphics driver and the update utility installed. I uninstalled the Audio drivers with Device Manager, but the next time I restarted the Audio drivers were reinstalled. How do I permanently delete them?
