    Hi everyone,

I have a client who wants some of her headings included in the document map. However, she doesn’t want to use the Heading styles, nor can she simply create new styles based on the Headings (she’s using a template we gave her, and we don’t allow new styles).

Can anyone tell me what criteria is used for determining which styles are included in the DM? Is there a way to tell Word to include some styles?

    Thanks in advance,

    Beej

Relevant is the outline level (Format > Paragraph).
If she assigns an outline level other than “Body text”, the style(s) should appear in the Document Map.

      cheers Klaus
