• Downloading an Android app

I recently signed into Android Apps on Google and downloaded a weather program for my Samsung S3. The site said it down loaded but it didn’t install on my phone. I tried again, same thing, nothing. I also tried downloading the same app from Google Play Store with the same results. Both said it was downloaded, but it isn’t. Any help?

Sounds like the app failed to install – downloading is only 1/2 of the task of getting an app on your Android device, after it downloads it has to install before you can use it. You might check the user comments on the Play Store to see if others are having problems installing the app.

Also, is it just this app that has the problem or do all apps have this issue? If all apps, there could be some other problem (such as lack of space to install the app or a locked SD card).

Also, your “app” might be a “widget”. Click on the “apps” icon on the lower right corner. At the top of the page that comes up, click on “widgets”. See if it’s there. I have a clock/weather “widget” on my S3.
