    Using Win10 on a Lenovo system with a high res display :    2840 X 2400; configured to 200% scaling.

This works fine for most programs but the odd one – the specific one now is an old Nokia phone desktop – doesn’t scale well; it is so small that my old eyes can’t see it well.  I have fiddled with all of the display settings, DPI settings under advanced properties, and the like but nothing changes the size of the application on the desktop.

Any advice for this type of application?  Are there utilites that could be run to change the settings for specific applications?    Obviously I don’t want to change DPI or resolution settings in general as that would mess up a whole bunch of other things.

    Thanks

I hate computers and windows and the world.

I did something – I’m not sure what – and now the program is corrently opening with a reasonable DPI so that I can see it.

I went through the settings again.   “Run in VGA compatibility” was hopeless and hard to get rid of because for some reason the laptop booted in that mode.  But I managed to get rid of it.  Current settings are – Compatibility – ‘disable full screen optimizations’ (not quite sure what that is) is checked, nothing else.

Oh well.    Usual story – I guess it doesn’t matter if in the end it works.

I have a very similar problem with Malwarebytes. Bottom of the display is cut off and can not move it. 🙁

Just because you don't know where you are going doesn't mean any road will get you there.
