• Dragging files in Windows Explorer

In the old days (Windows 95) when I would drag a file to another folder (using the right mouse button dragging from the right side to the left side of the screen) the target folder would remain highlighted when I released the button to bring up the copy/move menu, I’ve been unable to find how to get this helpful feature to work in Windows 2000. My aim seems to be getting worse over time… Greg

MS changed that with Win2k. ‘Fraid you’re out of luck. BTW, XP works the same as 2k.

Great sadness, it was so practical. Your fast response will keep me from wasting more time on a memory. Thanks, Greg
