When I try to print an e-mail, only the heading prints, not the body of the e-mail. Am I missing something?

      Ducky,

I suspect you’ve received no replies as your questions make no sense. Please let me ask some questions so more information is available to those who may be able to assist. Once this dialog starts, others may need additional information to help find the root cause and offer a suggestion to correct the problem.

First, Windows XP is the operating system, not the email program you use to send and receive your emails. You will be using another program or possibly your browser to read and write emails, and presumably the same program to print the emails from. Please state what program or browser you use to read and write your emails.

Second, have you ever successfully printed your emails, heading and body?

If you have, what has changed recently:

Has the automatic Windows Update installed updates?

Have you changed any settings in Windows XP, your email program or browser, changed printers, installed a new – even perhaps seemingly unrelated – program?

Has anyone else has use of your computer that could have made changes?

I hope answers to these questions will help you finally get the answers you need to find a solution. If you do solve the problem, please consider posting back a short description of the solution for everyone’s benefit.

      Thanks!

        pjustice57,

Thanks for setting me straight. As you can see, I am not very computer literate! I have Verizon Broadband with MSN Premium and receive my e-mail via MSN Explorer. As to your questions, this is a recent problem, the first time I have had any problem printing e-mails. On the other hand, I have installed updates and programs galore. I suppose I could roll back with System Restore, but am reluctant to do so. I didn’t realize these things affected the print process.
And, yes, I have just installed a new printer, but that apparently isn’t the problem since I had the same problem with the old printer. That’s why I took this to be a computer problem and not a printer problem. I just can’t understand why the printer prints the heading and not the body of the e-mail. Thanks for any help you can give.
