Edge browser Chromium fails to install

Yes I am trying to install the new Edge browser, chromium version.

I have the latest windows 10 version, and I am able to download the edge Chromium version, and it goes through the process and even the install process, but it fails to install the new edge, and gives an error 124.

Do you have the full error message?
Check Event Viewer for error reports. (Use NirSoft FullEventLogView for an easy to read listing)

Did you run the offline installer or the online installer ?

Try the offline installer

here is what my event viewer says:
